Ready, Set, Go (Read-along kickoff)

Ready, Set, Go.

It’s time for us to dig into our text: Restless: Because You were Made for More by Jennie Allen.

We are scheduled to read from May 20th – June 26th. Even if you read one chapter a day, you would finish way before 6/26!! It’s not too late to join in. Get your book on Amazon, Kindle or brick and mortar book store and be sure to give yourself some time to meditate and process the information. You can expect me to post my questions and thoughts along the way. Feel free to do so as well. We have a Facebook group where we post our thoughts and questions. If you are not a member of the Facebook group and would like to be, comment below so that we can add you to the group. As I dug into the book, this quote from the foreword immediately stood out to me and was encouraging: “I pray that you dream big, believe big, and dare big during your one and only life on this planet. Impossible is where God starts and miracles are what God does. Go on, I dare you to let God be God in you so that he can be God through you.”

What stops you from dreaming BIG, believing BIG, and daring BIG? For me, it’s fear that I won’t succeed and sometimes fear that I will succeed. When I think of failure, I imagine a ton of disappointment, insecurities, and embarrassment. And many times, when I envision success, I connect it with anxiety, pressure, and loads of expectations. But if I allow it, I will be stuck here in neutral forever. I will never go anywhere. My dreams will be limited to my own power. But, with God’s almighty power, my options are limitless.

I challenge you to do it! Dream BIG for your life, your family, your marriage, your career, your finances. And as you do, lay each dream down before God. In the process, know that with God, nothing is impossible. God can take everyone of our “can’ts” and turn them into “cans.” Dreaming BIG will challenge your faith. Dreaming BIG will scare some people in your life away. But you only have one life on this planet so why not go all out?
